Miss Doreen Aidoo
Doreen Aidoo has an MSC in Children’s Health and Education from the Kingston University London. Having worked for many years in the banking and financial institutions and specialising in marketing and customer service, she diverted to pursue pathways in customer service where the focus primarily rests on Children and young people.
Completing her PGCE, she has has had an immense wealth of experience teaching and working with children and young people essentially promoting their health and safeguarding them in education.
She upholds an ethos whereby child development should include a total approach to education and health care, embracing physical, emotional, social and spiritual elements which focus on the enhancement of quality of life for a child, enabling children to attain their full potential in life.
To her, nothing is more important than safeguarding children’s welfare in educational settings and upholding their Rights in accordance to the Children’s Act 1989 and 2004 and the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC); To recognise children’s rights to education, expression and receiving of information.
Doreen Aidoo also holds a Bachelor of science Degree (Hons) in Child Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in economics and sociology from from Westminster University and Kingston University London.
